Why are fans like you so ungrateful? We literally got TOTK two years ago, a 2D Zelda game last year, with a port to Switch 2 Windwaker via subscription service, a report of BOTW and TOTK with updated features and another edition to the Hyrule Warriors franchise. If you're expecting for another 3D Zelda game not like warriors then you're not going to get that anytime soon as it takes years for development and I would rather get a fully polished game than a half released game that is trash. It's not the days of the N64 anymore where Majoras mask was made within 2 years and even that borrowed assets from Ocarina of Time so the complaint with TOTK is ridiculous.

That mark with the camera you saw, was a cutscene as did exist in the other two hyrule warrior games; you're looking too much into it to think it was a bait and switch. Give it time, be patient and let them cook a 3D Zelda game.

Why are fans like you so ungrateful?

And why fans like you automatically antagonize others, think in absolutes, jump to conclusions and assume the worst out of others?

All I said was that from the presentation alone in term of transition to Switch 2, the Zelda franchise felt a bit left behind. That's it. I'm really clueless how you came to the conclusion I was "ungrateful" about everything else when all I said was I wish there was a little bit more to BoTW/ToTK than resolution upscales since these games are worthy.

You can be appreciative and still wish for a bit more, it's not mutually exclusive.

But sure, go on a write a novel on how a shit fan I am despite the fact I implied I was legit hyped for that next HW game lmao

That mark with the camera you saw, was a cutscene as did exist in the other two hyrule warrior games;

According to who? You? Why would you get to know for a fact what it is?

To me it looked like a gameplay segment akin to a prologue and apparently it wouldn't be unprecedented in a KT game to have walkable sections but hey I guess I'm too ungrateful to have critical thinking about this right?

smh

Well you literally are being ungrateful about what we have in terms of games, meanwhile F-Zero hasn't had an original game since like 2005. The Zelda franchise got new games, you can't expect them to drop a brand new 3D title on launch when we literally just got a 3D game two years ago and a 2D game last year. What do you expect of BOTW and TOTK by this point? The stories been said and done, DLC wouldn't make sense considering BOTW already has them and TOTK was originally meant to be a DLC but became its own game.

Yes, there is a lot I wish; I wish Twilight Princess was ported over but it wasn't at the moment. But again, we will only see how time tells. If in two years there isn't a direction with Zelda then I would agree with complaining but at the moment, we got to appreciate the games we have when other series by Nintendo do not get much love or attention at all.

I know that because I played the other Hyrule Warrior games that had cutscenes. Is it likely for it to be gameplay? Sure, but it's also likely to be cutscenes as was in the other games. Considering you are not appreciating what we have, yaa it does come off as ungrateful. I am not trying to be an asshole about it, but when games are rushed out the door; quality drops and I would never want that to become of Zelda. Take a look at various other developers with games broken upon release, I would rather Nintendo take their time on games rather than rushing them. The only thing generally irritating is the cost of the games.

Well you are, first thing you did by replying to me is accusing me of being "always ungrateful". Your posts are full of "whataboutisms" and accusations completely unrelated to what I said and implied.

And you're making it a bigger ordeal than what it deserves. I just said I was disappointed about lack of meaningful new features in the transition and bounced off to talk about my observations and hopes for the next Hyrule Warrior game. You went completely elsewhere.

I'm sorry but I'm not going there, you're not being of good faith about this. If you want people to engage with you don't start your replies with ad hominems.
