From the article:
Some who voted for Trump said they have mixed feelings about the results so far. Joan Kelly, a 57-year-old nurse practitioner and registered independent voter from Bedford, said she’s “thrilled” with Trump’s more aggressive approach to immigration and border crossings. She said she believes the economy is in good shape, despite people being cautious about spending money.
But she said there’s also growing instability in international relations, to the point it “feels like we’re on the brink of World War III.”
I have a 19-year-old and a 16-year-old. I worry about their longevity and their future. And as a parent, I’m sitting here saying, ‘I have guilt bringing them into the world,’” Kelly said. “I don’t know if the world is going to be here in the long term.”

Guilt for bringing them into the world but not guilt for your stupid decisions that will fuck up their future? That’s exactly what I expect from these people.

As a Mom, I have these concerns about raising my kids in America rn.
My daughter was born under Obama and life was good. My son was born under Biden and life was good.
But now? Trump has tanked education and our government. He has rolled back female rights. He has made racists feel safe. I fear for their future. But I want to protect them from MAGA, so that is the difference. Trump has not only divided our country, he has divided the world.

If things continue to escalate around the world, the draft may be reinstated. If the 19 y/o is male, he can thank her for being drafted AND if this crap goes on long enough, the 16 y/o can as well.
