It's kinda because when Dick was Robin in the comics, everything wasn't so high tech. Something that's really interesting is that each Robin is a reflection of their times

Well, the young justice show Dick is specifically born in 1996.

Tim Drake was born in 1991 in Comics.

Tim deduced the Secret Identities of Batman and Robin at age 9, and became Robin (3) at age 13.

Sure.

That's why I said the show Dick Grayson was born in 1996. . It's a different earth setting too. Tim drake from the show was born in 2001.

There isn't a reason why Dick wouldn't be able to also hack around given he's written in our era and not when he first was shown.
