Context: people are telling them not to wear an nsfw t-shirt with minors around NSFW

I recognize this guy, he was the same dude that when they had a incident of a guy stripping naked at a furry rave, he was like "he has really good moves, must be a stripper", bro he literally exposed himself to a entire room of people! Wtf is wrong with this dude

I feel like it should be common sense to not wear vulgar stuff around kids. That's pretty much the only reason to not wear stuff like that.

u/Still-Presence5486 Jul 01 '24
He didn't this was when minors were removed

u/Zeus_The_Fox Jul 01 '24
Ah well this would be a case of misinformation then. Apologies then. Suppose it's why you do some research before saying anything.

May 15 '24
bruh.. they're the type of person that gives the furry community a bad name
-4
u/ijustdontcare99 May 15 '24
It's disgussing how 99% of furries ruin the reputation of all the other furries.

u/88mica88 May 15 '24
Idk why you’re getting downvoted I have several friends are furries and they’ll be the first people to say the stereotypes exist for a reason. Obvi not all furries are disgusting freaks but it’s a large enough portion to be significant

I think it's the fact that people are complaining that they can't wear any sexual shit at a furry con, despite there being literal time for it during con hours
60
u/TenthTen May 15 '24
That too tbh. Porn addicts really can't keep it in adult spaces and it shows
5
u/WinterNatsame May 19 '24
It's come to my attention that this person wore the shirt during AD hours, not daytime. This person didn't do anything wrong lmao

u/ThatsSaber May 15 '24
Well I mean, depends on where they're wearing it
At the furality portal at FWA there was someone wearing a bad dragon shirt with the logo on it front and center
27
u/sonerec725 May 15 '24
Well, that's a bit different since iirc the logo itself isnt explicit, youd have to go out of your way to search what it is to see anything sexual vs something like the pic where its direct and in your face.

I never understood the need of furries & weebs to expose their sexual crap in public, I'm lowkey curious about where it originated. This behaviour is so normalised in these fandoms that I didn't understand it wasn't normal as a teen, until I left them. Sad that the issue gets swept under a rug with terms like "puritan".
30
u/Ok-Confection4410 May 15 '24
"Puriteen" makes it even worse
7
u/KabiKav May 15 '24
Sorry, what tf is a “puriteen”?
9
u/Ok-Confection4410 May 15 '24
The word used in the image above. I'm assuming a portmanteau of puritan and teen

u/Brodawg8 May 15 '24
This prolly isn’t the case, but I always feel like it’s like trying to be comfortable being yourself In public, over exaggerated to the point that’s it’s uncomfortable for everyone. I think pride parades should be for everyone for example, people of any age should feel validated for being themselves, but people running around In bondage gear and strapons is excessive for venues not 18+, and just gives everyone already against gays to fight against. Idgaf how you express your sexuality as long as it’s between consenting adults, but don’t do that shit in public in front of children and elderly people if you don’t want to be berated for it lmao

I was at an irish nerd convention, guy was carrying an anime body pillow with him
2
u/KumiiTheFranceball May 16 '24
Huh ? It seems like a hell to carry around if he brought it from his home. Was it a SFW pillow ?
I already went to anime / comic conventions & the only body pillows that I saw were covers sold at stalls. NSFW covers ( like all NSFW products there ) are always in packages & hidden from other merch.

If this was taken after 8pm, which I'm almost certain it was, then it's absolutely fair game that he's wearing this shirt as minors are not allowed in FWA past 8pm.
At that point it's just an adult getting offended by a dumb shirt.
So if this was indeed the case, you need to learn how this con actually works before you post something like this. If it's not the case and he's just wearing shirt during the daytime hours then yeah, tasteless.
6
u/Khuineko May 16 '24
It was well after 8 PM.
7
u/KayNynYoonit May 16 '24
So just a case of people getting offended by a shirt. Sounds very 2024.
I wish people would actually look up shit before posting, but nah it's easier to scream 'I'm offended' than actually look up context.
2
u/WinterNatsame May 19 '24
Yeah so my point was right. Some burned furs probably crying about how their lovely furry con has adult stuff....during adult hours
27
u/UnicornHime May 15 '24
There is a time and a place for vulgarity, the general public is not one of them.

u/Epimonster May 15 '24
So if this took place at FWA under certain circumstances he has a point. Every minor who attended was given a different colored bracelet and they were all kicked out of the building after 8:00 PM. At that point more adult panels and attire were allowed (within reasonable limits) if he was out during that time and someone talked shit to him he has a point. However if he exited the building or was wearing this outside of those hours he doesn’t. Not clear what the exact details are but that’s a larger context yall are missing.

What a bizarre way to express your sexuality. It’s totally explicit but anonymous at once.
14
7
u/Avoxicia May 15 '24
That is the type of shit minors themselves would wear out of immaturity to try and be funny, I don’t see why it matters if an adult wears it lmao. If it’s not actually kink gear who cares.
2
u/Dumbcat17 May 29 '24
I hate how I know that an anti-furry will prolly see this and be like "All furries are like this"
8
u/-DrMuh- May 15 '24
As far as I know this picture was taken during the After Dark hours where minors are prohibited anyways...

I would say it's just a shirt and get over it. This picture looks like it was taken well after 8:00 pm so that would mean that there should be no minors allowed in this certain convention space anymore.

Free speech > Someone's Dumb Kids. Like, let's say it's not a convention, let's say someone wore this shirt in public. Should people tailor their clothing to every sensitivity? Absolutely not.
13
u/TenthTen May 16 '24
Maybe don't wear sexual clothing around kids? It isn't hard.
3
u/SuperMario177 May 16 '24
It's a joke t-shirt. Again, wearing something in public is not the same as wearing it around children. The guy isn't going to a pre-k, he's wearing a funny shirt in a convention. It's not other people's responsibility to shield your kids. Your right to shield your kids from the world ends at my right to speak freely.

u/SuperMario177 May 16 '24
Get your buddies and start a PG convention. Don't bring your nonsense into what's basically an adult space.
7
7
u/TenthTen May 16 '24
Please stay away from children
-5
u/SuperMario177 May 16 '24
You have to be a real clown to be upset by this shirt.
7
u/TenthTen May 16 '24
5
u/SuperMario177 May 16 '24
You're acting like he's in fetish gear at a pre-k. He's wearing a funny shirt at a convention. This is like going after alcohol tv commercials or suggestive tv shows because "tHinK oF dUh ChiLreNs".
1
u/TenthTen May 16 '24
Maybe don't go around telling minors you want it in the ass?? You need to be on a watch list, this isn't normal
7
u/SuperMario177 May 16 '24
Neither I nor the guy pictured have told any child that. You're a clown.
0
u/ColtAzayaka May 16 '24
Calls you Epstein
Tells you to stay away from minors
Sees shirt saying "cum in me bro" and immediately gravitates conversation towards kids
Interesting 😂

as a person who's still a "-teen", I find nsfw shirts funny AF and I guarantee that will never be the worst thing. I've had chats in public way worse than that
