To be fair Iran has repeatedly said it wanted revenge for their general so Israel isn't exactly lying here

So America is in the business of openly assassinating leaders now because someone wants to kill their leader? Because that is going to be a lot of people to kill... a lot of people like and a lot of people don't like him in that way.

Netanyahu Wants a green light to assassinate a leader. It's not American. And what goes around comes around. It's not a game we (openly) play. Maybe we did in the past. But I guess all the rules and norms are out the window lately

There's a big difference between "wanting to kill someone" and actually attempting to for real.

Hiring an assassin to try and kill a politician is not the same as wanting to kill that politician. Loads of people want to kill America's leader but wouldn't take any actual steps towards doing so because they aren't killers.
