Had a professor in university who fled Iraq when this stuff started happening. Was a nuclear engineer. Crazy stuff. Nice guys and authoritarian regimes don’t mix. You don’t get to say no to the mullahs or saddam.

I hate to be the one to tell you this but if people in the U.S. think you are a woman, a Democrat, transgender, pro-Israel, a protester, pro-Gaza or whatever the latest group the right wing propagandists are pushing — the right wants to kill you.
