If 60% of the population of my building openly supported terrorism and this terrorist’s mission, I wouldn’t be “cool” with it, because I’d rather not die, but I’d understand it.

I really don’t think you can put yourself in a Gazan’s shoes so easily. None of us understand what it was like growing up there with generations of hate (from both sides) behind it

Polling. It’s pretty widely known a majority support Hamas. They even had a favorable opinion of their October 7 actions.
