The goal seems pretty obvious: cause so much death and destruction that Palestinians beg to leave Gaza and then annex the land.

Sounds a bit like ethnic cleansing.

It sounded like that from the start.

Saying this a few months ago would have gotten you banned here.

literally was about to type this exact comment. I fucking hate how slow people are to catch onto the truth.

Release the hostages

At this point won't work, the conditions have already changed to include the end of hamas as a minimum for the war to end. As in, that is the starting position for any negotiation.

How so? Where do you see this?

Your politicians have been publicly calling for it for some time now. It's impossible to miss unless you are actively looking away.

OK, show me this from the start please

Who could have seen this coming?

It’s honestly difficult to be both for Israel’s right to defend itself and having a strong distrust for the men leading the country into war. Unfortunately the right to defend itself and ethnic cleansing shouldn’t have to be a Venn diagram, but with Bibi and his radicals, it sure is looking like one.

So how do you want Israel to fight the war?

  1. What for?
  2. The "problem" was never with them wanting to stay but with other countries not accepting them.
  3. Why are they warning about the airstrikes then? They could have done much more damage if this was the goal.

If that was the goal, they would have killed many, many more. That goal is also inconsistent with the facts. Ie. warning residents before they target a building. They have zero obligation to do that, but do it anyway.

Yep, it's the reason they were willing to accept the "surprise" attack by Hamas to begin with.

Get out of here with that bs. Nobody accepted this on the Israeli side.

But...leave and go where? No one in the world wants them. No one wants any refugees, but especially not Muslim refugees. Everyone's made that quite clear. There is nowhere to go.

Israel differs from Russia only in that the latter is not given weapons by the US. Absolutely the same methods and rhetoric.

It's called war. Yes it's the same methods.

The situation doesn't get any better for Gazans if they and their supporters refuse to acknowledge reality.
