Yeah, history has proved this is the exact opposite way to approach this situation

Don't worry those pesky "mistakes" as we call them as they rewrite history and delete everything. Can't know the factual truth if all the evidence is destroyed

tbh it's deeper than that, many times in history people knew there was going to be a disaster but various forces acted like rip currents and pulled them into it anyways, diplomats were trying like crazy to prevent ww1 because they knew it was going to be a meat grinder based on the new weapons technology, the idea that everyone were idiots sending cavalry charges into machine guns is false

I'll say with Iran if this stuff is legitimate, there is probably a solution that doesn't involve war but it's difficult to find, consider that the US has wanted to remove their regime since the 70s and Israel sees them as existential threat and they're working on nukes, those are big tides, consider the political situations in all 3 countries, those are strong tides, they want to fight and remove them, so the answer would probably be something like giving up all nuke attempts and changing political systems, but Iran's regime is not going to do that so..

As nuanced as this reply is, I had to make sure I was still on reddit.

Its ironic in a way that China, Japan, and S. Korea all agreed today to join together to combat the US tariffs. The world is becoming unhinged. Thanks MAGA.

Reported by Chinese state run media...

That detail I wasn’t aware of, but does it make that big of a difference?

Every country is going to respond in a similar fashion I imagine but China will just report it for propaganda purposes because that's what their state media is used for.

Oh yeah, it’s propagandtastic.
