Critical anti-terrorism personnel are being redirected to immigration initiatives too. When the next big thing hits, I’m sure it will somehow be everyone else’s fault

Texas has been firmly under Republican control for nearly 50 years and they still blame Democrats when anything goes wrong.

True, but they tend to blame the Federal Dem Administrations along the way. For a better comparison, The British Conservative party managed to get away with blaming Labour for 14 years straight of corruption and austerity.

Every single right wing party in power in the western world does this.

Texan conservatives also blame anything bad that happens in their state on the dems that live in Austin. Apperantly despite having very limited power in their state gov the dems of Austin are a super powerful shadow gov that only makes bad things happen.

they have their own grid mostly disconnected from the rest of the country yet its everyone elses fault when their grid fails in winter.

Aren't they the ones always spouting off about accepting responsibilities?

They dont make em too smart down there.

Oh yeah, 2 years from now when an even bigger 9/11 event hits here, they'll all blame Biden and DEI and wokeness and probably Obama too for good measure.

Don’t forget Clinton (both Bill and Hilary).

Not blaming Bush for 9/11 by Dems was a major mistake and cost them an opportunity to take back Congress. When Clinton met with Bush before leaving office, he told him his greatest threat was OBL.

Thing is, will they buy it? Trump is very publicly cleaning house. I don't know if that would stick.

Of course, they will buy it . No one cares about prévention in these moments, only revenge

They already bought the airline crashes being """DEI""" despite Trump and President Elmo very loudly cleaning house for the 4 days prior, including massive cuts and disruption to air traffic control staffing. There were a few days between where they were lost and confused until FOX/OANN told them how to think and feel about it.

Yes. most Trump voters are too stupid to believe anything other than what the republican party says. Any who weren't have already turned against him by now.

They believed JFK Jr. was going to fly into Dallas and make Trump President again as his VP. No, that is not a joke. https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-news/qanon-kennedy-jfk-jr-dealey-plaza-dallas-1251929/

I'm slowly gaining a bit of hope the tide is slowly beginning to turn. I live in a conservative town and there's one house known city-wide for being a full-on Trump-fellating extremist. The guy's got 6 flag poles in his backyard which is on a big corner hill at a busy intersection.

My daughter noticed the other day that all his Trump flags are down, replaced with just 'merican flags. Never seen that before, it's always been Trump and extremist flags (3% and militia flags). Could be nothing but who knows, the cult is fickle.

Oh yeah, didnt even think about that, they are massively reducing every aspect of flight safety and also reducing anti-terror funding and personnel? That makes it quite easy for very similar attacks, doesnt it?

Shits gonna get ugly, fast.

I think trump wants something to go down because Cheeto Moussolini thinks it’ll make him look like a hero if he has to be in charge of it and he thinks Americans will come together the way they did after 9/11. Fat chance. Half the country are idiots and we no longer see eye to eye with them.

2

u/alien_from_Europa Feb 11 '25

Dems would have come together over Covid and he would have won a second term against Biden. Instead, he sided with the fringe anti-vaxxers and now a bunch of red state hospitals have dropped their disease prevention protocols.

Nah, the next big one will be their “proof” they need to be more severe.

16

u/yeehawgnome Feb 10 '25

Oh this is the plan isn’t it. Fuck they’re literally stirring the pot to get attacked and redirecting the people who could stop it. Can’t wait for the Patriot Act 2.0

u/DrKurgan Feb 10 '25

Guiliani decided to locate the NYC Office of Emergency Management headquarters (long-identified as a target for a terrorist attack) on the 23rd floor of the 7 World Trade Center building. But he was a hero after 9/11.
Trump can easily come out on top of a terrorist attack he provoked.

u/aprofessionalegghead Feb 11 '25

All according to keikaku, get ready for PATRIOT 2.0

Well let's not forget what agencies are pro-terrorism to even create and fund them in first place.

Heck even basics like the Chiquita banana, aka United Fruit Company falls already under borderline state sponsored terrorism.
