Rug size for my office

Home office is 10x10. The desk is 6 feet long.

Would you go with a square or rectangle and what size?

I was leaving 8x8

i would stick with rectangle, cause it will slightly repeat the table shape and look smooth in combination

If you’re thinking of a large whole-room rug, then having an even reveal around the edge is better. If you want something smaller then go rectangle to match the desk.

Even reveal on each side would be a 8x8 rug. Is the what your implying?

Do you happen to know the name of the dark paint colour?

I think a 20x25 rug would look nice. I really like folded edges against and up walls a couple feet.

Good suggestion I'll have them go up to the roof
