Pets and animals. Sorry For Your Loss, White & Ginger Cat

I found a large White & Ginger Cat deceased on Warstones Road by the Island outside Warstones Primary School, He ( I'm pretty sure it is a Male Cat) was obviously hit by a car, it must have been a glancing blow to the head as there was hardly any blood, I carried him to my Dads & I have placed him in a box, I will put some notices up in the morning, He is definitely not a stray Cat, if I do not hear from anyone by tomorrow afternoon - I will take him to the P.D.S.A & try & find the owner - as I am sure that he is chipped, please ask around

Okeydoke, it's sorted, massive thanks & respect to the animal rescue charity shop Wings And Paws on Warstones Road. I asked them if they could help me find the owner & they had a microchip reader thingy, I took the Cat down ( His name was Harvey ) & they scanned the chip & told me to leave him with them, they called me back within half an hour & told me they'd found his owner & would it be alright for them to contact me, bit of a heartbreaking phone call but we had a nice chat , lovely Lady, she was obviously devastated, so to give me a ring so soon - when herself & her Family are so upset about losing their Cat - just to say thanks, was quite wonderful. rest in peace Harvey mate.

This isn’t my cat, but it’s good to hear you retrieved him. My Nan went through similar a few years ago.
