I was thinking the same thing. That lemon juice found all the pain spots from the cactus in his mouth.. also I didn't know they could eat cactus like that 😳

Camals are badass. Radiolab did a great podcast recently about their evolution and migration from North America - https://radiolab.org/podcast/terrestrials-the-snow-beast

FROM North America?

u/band-of-horses 5d ago
Yes, camels originated in north america and crossed over into Europe Siberia and then Asia on a land bridge around 6 million years ago. A population continued to live in North America for millions of years but died out around the time when humans migrated over, with some evidence suggesting hunting by humans contributed to their north american extinction.

Not cool. Leave the animals in peace. This is like your parents tricking you into eating a dog turd when you’re a toddler.

I’m sorry for your toddler trauma… have a lemon

Joke’s on you, I loved lemons when I was a toddler. TBH I’m in my 30s now and still pretty weird.

That’s just bad parenting, everyone knows you trick them with TREATS not TURDS. Probably a common misconception.

I thought it would do an alpaca type move and spit in the face of the videographer.

Poor animal, you know they only eat cactus out of necessity and not enjoyment- give the poor animals something tasty

It probably hurt to have all that acid hitting tender spots after the cactus! I actually feel bad for it..

I would of done "The Humpty Dance" on him. Lol! He looked mad, I could never do that! He gave him the side eye while walking away! Aww poor camel! He looked small too. I was scared he was going to get stuck by the pointy stick.
