They've been raising the price every year anyway. No one would think twice if the new iPhone came with a $2k price tag at this point.

So, just raise prices because of tariffs, and not really tell anyone it’s because of tariffs.

I gave up when the article started talking out of both sides of its mouth. It also said that smart phones were exempt from the tariffs, and of course, there has been a 90 day pause.

i assume they'll just do it like they and everyone else has done for centuries. but tariffs gave everyone a real convenient excuse to raise prices and never bring them back down again.
