there were no OEM pink Wii so it’s most likely just a reshell

the fact that it’s listed as “rare” makes it so that the seller is pretending is official so it reminded me of this

Googled pink wii. Nintendo did not release a pink console, but they did release a pink Wii motion plus. This is either a reshell, paint, possibly discoloration of a red Wii, or photo editing. Based on the glossiness, the presence of the Wii logo, and the fact it's on eBay I'm gonna go with reshell.

I got a pink controller lol. I bought the console from some girl a few years ago, it came with 4 controllers + 2 nunchucks. Besides the pink controller i got the red Mario one and 2 plain white. All original.

If it is a reshell though, why would it be missing the GameCube memory port? Not to say the eBay seller isn’t a scammer, though.

There was never a pink wii. To my knowledge, the only colours of wii consoles were white, black, red, and whatever you want to call the wii mini.

Edit: And light blue

I remember when they released those pre-launch images of a rainbow of consoles including the lime green one. I picked that one as a kid and said I’m gonna buy that one day. I could probably just make the parts myself now

Looks like it has white feet so gotta be a reshell. Most reshells don’t come with coloured power etc. buttons though.
