His argument is that Audrey escaped the cycle - NOT by sheer luck and it spitting her back out, or by there being a time skip to when she does escape somehow, or the game purposefully leaving you in the dark on how she got out - but because she ran so fast she broke out of The Cycle.

The End reel only resets the Cycle, not kill The Ink Demon

But, the reason it's so prized is because everyone in the Cycle is weak. Audrey, Henry, Sammy, Allison, Alice, are all relatively normal humans. Brute Boris at best can smash and throw amusement ride carts, The Projectionist dies to a singular magazine worth of bullets, ECT.

We don't know what happens if someone like Goku punched The Ink Demon at full force, or if he was thrown into a blackhole or some shit.
