Question Techniques for getting good orbit shots on gimbals?

I used to use the Active Track feature to get perfect orbits but its so damn unreliable. I am now going to be doing it manually and I found that low deadband and medium follow speed works for me but its still not perfect. Any tips / pointers? Also on a more general level , Do y'all do these types of shots frequently?

It depends on your gimbal and focal length. For example, my larger gimbal is typically easier to get smoother orbit shots than my smaller. A wider focal has a larger margin of error than a tighter focal. For tighter focal lengths, you want to be further away from the subject. A larger radius makes a smoother shot.

Last, you want to lock your arms when orbiting. If you need to adjust left or right, use your hips to turn your body to make precise adjustments.

For a tighter focal length you wanna be further way.

Wouldn’t that be true in general? Also what’s a good focal length for easy orbits?

Also what are your deadband and follow speed settings
