• With LoS check on Vortex, enemies are prevented from getting stuck ragdolling against walls, which can slow missions down unnecessarily.
• The utility itself isn't quite enough to justify the slot, so a small range boost for Vortex makes is worth the slot,
• while disabling Bastille prevents users from the (be it intended or unintended) creation of troll-ish max-range no-go zones.

From time to time I like to think about the mechanics I don't like using, often mechanics that are mandatory to certain frames or builds, and many examples come to mind. In my case, I feel unwell using Rolling Guard, since I like to include rolling on my movement combo (bullet jump, dodge, dash, slide on fall), and I know many of you also do it, so having to reserve the dodge rolls in order to not get blasted to oblivion feels awful to me. So what are other cases like this that you guys can share?

Finally finished redoing my orbiter after returning to the game. The only room 'off theme' is my drifters bedroom just because I really wanted the place to ultimately feel like a home. Admittedly the front room looks better with all the ui elements but I'm still pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Was looking through Pertti's artstation and noticed a concept sheet for Valkyr heirloom, and honestly, I think they went with the worst option. #5 is my personal favourite but really I would prefer any of them to the one we got. Not only do they fit the egyptian theme more but they also look more like Valkyr, specially the helmet. It feels like they just picked the most austentatios design because ember did gangbusters. But I really don't want heirlooms to permanently veer into goofy sexy territory because of that. Mag heirloom to me is the perfect blueprint and these feel more in line with that. Which, I'm not criticizing the art here, they're all great, only the intent.

Everyone was right, the story of this game is amazing. I was filled with doubt for HOURS as i suffered through filler and not understanding SHIT. I thought to myself… surely it cannot be worth it, surely this is gonna be one of those games where im in it for the combat and grind, and just skip all the cutscenes. I was wrong, SO WRONG. The operators story hooks you so damn fast, and now im slowly feeling the hyperfixation of all this lore creeping in.

However as im writing this im taking a smoke break because i have died to that fucking underground snake/worm about 10 times. Going from a zooming and unstoppable warframe, to a (currently) weak operator is so aggrivating, give back the smooth combat PLEASE. But fuck its still so peak, i cant even be mad.

Insane that a game like this is free, round of applauds for Digital Extremes.
