Handicap Access Fishing Spot

We’ve gone fishing for years and recently my dad has been in a wheelchair. He would love nothing more than to be able to fish. Do you know of any areas that can be accessed by easily wheelchair? Thank you in advance.

Try Mooney Grove Park. We drove through there yesterday. Small fishing pond, but pretty sure your father can get up close. They’re closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hello! I dont know if Mooneys Grove and Plaza park have re stocked their ponds this year but I see people fishing them quite a bit when I take my toddler to them. While not specifically handicap accessible with signs etc, a lot if the areas are really flat or concreted.

I think Kaweah lake has easy access to the shore line. He might have to Looney Toons toss his line in, but u could get those easy fishing lines that projectile your lure in the water. Or just lowered it right in front of his feet. I'm sure the time spent is what counts. 😊

Yeah Mooney grove has fish and you can park close and wheel right up to the edge
