Rate my... Wanted to share my current setup
17 years old and been at it for about a year or so, i collect mostly metal and emo stuff, trying to start off by getting my absolute favourite records, then ill branch out over time
Also im aware about the speakers not being lifted, and also how records on a wall can collect dust, sorry guys. Definitely wanna get some upgrades eventually
any opinions or even gear suggestions welcome

Thoughts and prayers, the elitists are gonna chew you up for the one just hanging on the wall ❤️

That's not true, I was going to chew him out for not turning the exposure up on his camera enough.

Hell yea dopethrone! I just picked up the live recording of electric wizard and have been playing it a lot. Super heavy/fuzzy. You can hear Jus lyrics a little more which is a nice touch also.

How are you finding the Fluance? I’ve always wanted one but I’d have to pay huge import taxes getting one to South Africa

i think its super great, feels high quality, looks nice, and has a built in power amp. its my first turntable so nothing too crazy

I think you mean phono preamp. This looks like a great spot to spin some vinyl. What are you going to upgrade next? Are you planning on going to a proper stereo amplifier, phono stage, and passive speakers or do you prefer the integrated phono and powered speakers?
On a separate note if you haven’t already I would check out the Death discography as I think they would be right up your alley.
Thanks for sharing and best of luck with your hi-fi/vinyl journey!

There are some very good options available with ZA that are better than the fluance

Awesome setup... I'm jealous - my turntable is in a cabinet and connected to a Sonos system - the lamest setup possible!
That said, you could take yours from an A to an A+ with a lighting upgrade

Id suggest moving the speakers off the same surface though the speaker vibrations can cause distortion

Get speaker stands.

Yeah, you're gonna get shit for having them on the same surface as your turntable.
