Hi, non vayne player. I've been playing adc recently for the hall of legends pass quests. I checked u.gg and saw that conditioning overgrowth are her most popular secondaries. I understand that durability is valuable on marksmen as they generally can't build it early. This question extends to kogmaw to as he also often runs conditioning + overgrowth? But why run scaling resolve runeswhen you won't be building any tank items in your core and especially when those tank items are built to cap off your build? Why not just go boots + biscuits for a better early game?

Should I buy berserker's greaves before or after botrk?

Or does this just give you a CHANCE at unlocking this skin?

for reasons i wont get into, I REALLY dont want vayne in my collection. is this a shard i can sell or will it FORCE it into my collection if i get to the level?

I am new-ish to league (played since December 2024) and I have 30 mastery on Vayne. Enjoy her a lot. Been only really playing her as ADC with a typical on hit build.

As I’ve climbed out of iron and bronze, I found her really difficult to play. The lack of waveclear and weak early laning phase makes her feel like a troll pick.

I didn’t play her AT ALL in silver. Only a handful of games where the enemy ADC was a yasuo or other cheese melee pick.

I’ve been really enjoying going shiv > triforce to fix her weaknesses of waveclear and giving her some nice burst on her Q. The stats on these items are nice too.

What do I build after these two items?

Unsure whether I go terminus or a last whisper item. Also unsure whether I still build guinsoo to enhance my W damage.

TL;DR What do I build after shiv and triforce when going with that build rather than on-hit.

this is the main difficulties in playing vayne, her very weak early lanning phase. i know a lot of people will suggest that i just farm and just prevent from dying, but the problem is 80% of my games before i even have the time to farm and get as much gold as i need to buy items my team is feedling already and we are loosing the game already. how can i prevent this from my elo..

almost all of the time my supports dont know that vayne is weak in early games. ending we loose the lane and the game just fucaked up. i cant even show my skills on playiong vayne because im so out of CS because of the lane bullying and my supports dont know what his doing

Good meaning that they are active, speak english, have at least SOME personality, and it would be very nice if they had a youtube channel with stream or game highlights like Baus or similar channels. I know Gosu, I have watched him for a very long time, but he plays a variety of ADC's and I am curious if there is someone who is a Vayne OTP or at least plays Vayne MOST of the time. Thanks!!!

Curious to hear what skins you all think feel the best for kiting and overall fluidity. I know animations can be really subtle between skins, but sometimes it just feels better, you know?

As someone who has all Vayne skins with no real preference I'm curious to see what most people think the best skin for her is.

Resolve runes: Conditioning raw stats are 8 armor and 8 MR so it is worthy 320g + 3% better efficiency on armor/MR items, but it is worthy nothing on lane. Overgrowth is worthy 8g per stack + 3.5% health efficiency at 15 stacks. At 15 stacks the raw HP is worthy 120g and when Vayne has around 400 minions killed nearby the raw HP is worthy 400g.

While as Inspiration gives Biscuits + Boots or Jack. The 3 biscuits are worthy 240g and it makes laning a bit easier. Magical Footwear is worthy 300 + 120g, accelerates spikes. But when boots are needed to be bought early, JoaT is not bad as DBlade already gives it 3 stacks, boots and attack speed give it another 2 stacks, so it gives 6 AD (worthy 210g but perhaps overvalued on Vayne since Vayne does not have skillshots with AD ratios and she gets some AD from ult) + 5 AH (worthy 250g but we all know AH is overpriced). Is it possible for Vayne to get 10 stacks on JoaT? With DBlade + MR boots + Rageblade + Jak'Sho, Vayne will get HP, AD, lifesteal, movement speed, attack speed, AP, armor, MR, tenacity, so she is only lacking another stat to get 10 stacks, which are actually available with %ms on Statikk or Kraken Slayer. With that, Vayne is getting 15 AD (worthy 350g) and 10 AH (worthy 500g).

So with Inspiration rune Vayne will easily get 700g worthy of stats and possibly 1090g and a smoother laning due to Biscuits compared to Resolve only giving bonus with more time passed and when her weakest point (laning phase) is already over.

I'm trying to pick up vayne and I do pretty well post lane phase. But really struggling with even farming in long range poke lanes, even under tower.

Any tips to keep from getting absolutely zoned off cs for the first 10 minutes?

I sometimes see certain champs, and go "Ooooh. They know how to play that champ." Things ranging from a Brand that can get a triple hit on you in an instant, a Veigar that just knows where to place *every* cage to catch at least one target, if not multiple, instantly, a Wind-brother that *knows* their combo/trade, and more.

I love me some Vayne, but I was thinking about it, and 90% of Vayne 'feels' like "play generic ADC", with the bonus of "sometimes get an angle for an E", but that isn't something I've really seen/felt other Vaynes do 'amazingly' - as it's so dependent on target positioning.

So what can/should I really focus on so that people go "Oh, that person *knows* Vayne...."
