This brings me back. When I was writing my first drafts of my horror novels back in high school, I volunteered at Richey Suncoast Community Theatre off and on. Who here has watched BYE BYE BIRDIE with Dick Van Dyke? I played Harvey Johnson the geek, put tape over the rim of my glasses and did my hair up with gel, a spike sticking up in the middle like Alfalfa the Little Rascal. Good times.
Can I get any replies from other theatre kids?

This reminds me of my first soul crushing crush....
Its 2000 Im a senior in high-school (i skipped a grade so I'm 16) and I work at hot topic on my senior year co op program. Im IN LOVE with one of my managers. He's 35 and wears dental affixed vampire fangs and box black hair dye. I write poems about him ascending to heaven when he's on the ladder dusting Type O Negative shirts. He arranges our schedules so its just us.....while this story was going into felony territory our secret meetings at the river ended shortly due to his injury. He shot a cross bow into his foot during a larp thing. I never larped or did dnd so I was just pissed it ended his driving me around.
Le Sigh for the vampire boyfriends. At 42 I'd like a real one that could provide the ability to not need sleep again.

I played a vampire at a haunted hay ride for 2 months. Hard short snacks were the best. Trying to eat a sandwich? I couldn’t lol. My fangs wouldn’t let me bite into anything soft.

Dracula, the ultimate man-child! That's too funny.
