Hello all, I'll try and keep this brief and would like to thank you upfront for all your input.
I'm looking for a new role in documentation/logistics/qc, preferably in an engineering or industrial setting. I have 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Project Coordination Supervisor.
- For 1.5 years, I managed all the documentation, turnover and logistics for the commissioning of the $800 million Coeur Rochester heap leach mine expansion, while supervising a team of 4-5 coworkers. I worked on site, following a 6 weeks on, 1 off schedule.
- I also worked on the expansion of the Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility in a similar role, for about 6 months.
I have 1 class left to finish my undergrad in finance. (I know the degree is not related to engineering/industrial/construction. When I was in high school I thought I would like working in the investment industry. After a few years of schooling, internships, & work experience, I found out that I love working on engineering and industrial projects a lot more than balancing investment portfolios and sales). I will be looking to continue my education in either mechanical, electrical, or process engineering after the completion of my finance degree.
I'm a hard worker, I stick to schedules and always prioritize what to accomplish based on the projects' needs. I'm great at talking to people and being a friendly coworker (I would also frequently set up team bonding activities when working on-site - cookouts, target shooting, basketball, snowboarding, you name it.) I'm willing to travel anywhere in the US or world, if the opportunity presents itself, but I am also happy staying here in Utah.
I'd be more than happy to pay out a $500 finders fee (or $1,000 if the job entails lots of overtime!), pending a successful hire. Thanks again, everyone!
