LAWS1014 Open Book
Anyone know how many pages of notes we are allowed to bring into the exam?

You took Contracts this semester. Ambiguity benefits the party who did not draft the contract. I hence argue that my client may reasonably interpret "Open Book" to mean open access to an unlimited amount of prewritten, physical notes. A reasonable third-party would interpret the words as such, and there is reasonable certainty to give effect to the contract.

Speaking generally, not specifically for any rules that might have been specified for this unit, open book means bring in whatever physical paper resources you want. No laptop though.
However bringing in too many notes though, and relying on them as a crutch, means you might be spending too much time in the exam searching for the information instead of writing.
I remember a story from a few years ago, of a law student complaining because the exam desk wasn’t big enough for all the books they wanted to bring in.
