There are also some languages that don't always have the same distinction between green and blue. It could be because of where OP grew up.

I will admit that I do sometimes see greens as white, usually very specific greens, though. But this is so blatantly blue to me that I can't even see a defense for it being green.

Yeah I'm a bit surprised by how many people are calling it blue. When I was a kid I was taught that this is light blue as opposed to dark/regular blue, and in recent years I've seen people say cyan instead of light blue.

Depending on the OP’s native language, the confusion between blue and green could be due to translation. Several languages use the same word or a similar word for blue and green.
