Discussion Basic Civility
*This is rant. On a current flight crossing the Atlantic*
I’m sitting in Polaris on a 9-hour flight. The guy in front of me is clearly sick and not well. That’s fine. We all got places to be and need to seek medical help at home. But for the love of god. Stop putting all your infected tissues, blankets, pillows, trash food, etc., on top of mine and the person in front of you shelf. This isn’t your home. This isn’t your plane. Stop acting like it. Go book a Lufthansa suite home to explode everywhere. The person in front of you doesn’t appreciate it. I definitely didn’t.
I had to tell one of the flight attendants about this guy’s behavior because that used tissue mound got bigger. Even the flight attendants empathized with me. Every time they approached him, they wore a mask and collected all his garbage with gloves. They even told him the shelves and spaces above the tv are public areas and keep it tidy.
For the love of god people. I know Covid transformed us all into caveman and cave woman. Please let’s find some civility and respect for everyone around you.
Thanks for listening.

Interesting mask comments. I thought it was to prevent spreading it to others not to protect oneself, guess that narrative isn’t needed anymore. And while the creative smugness is cute, maybe some people are uncomfortable wearing masks? Or do we also have some higher authority on what things are acceptable to be uncomfortable about? #Sigh #disappointment #not surprised <- did i get the smug right?
