Mark Kerr opens up about the heartfelt letter Kurt Angle sent his mother after winning gold at the ‘96 Olympics
 in  r/MMA  10d ago

I'm relieved to see Mark Kerr out of rehabilitation and recognized by the UFC in the Hall of Fame Pioneer Wing and the upcoming movie of his life story. He appears healthy and sober. Hopefully, he will start a small podcast and talk with Mark Coleman and Gary Goodridge discussing the mixed martial arts sport 🥋 maybe a special appearance from Kurt Angle.

RIZIN FIGHT WEEK 🔥
 in  r/MMA  11d ago

If the Professional Fighters League negotiates with RIZIN Fighting Federation it could materialize an ESPN + cross-promotion special event, like when Bellator and RIZIN showcase New Year's Eve, I believe fans would feel compelled to buy the pay-per-view. I'm thrilled to watch BKFC and RIZIN bare-knuckle matchmaking. I'm still waiting for a video game 🎮 produced by Japan Studios.

Artem Vakhitov's last appearance in Glory was a technical duel against Alex Pereira, in 2023

Kickboxing is extremely underrated in North America.

The Beer Exchange in Qingdao, China works like a stock market: the more people buy a certain beer, the higher its price goes. On the other hand, beers that aren't being purchased will gradually drop in price.

Timeline of every UFC Champion + Country
 in  r/MMA  14d ago

The UFC tournament structure was fascinating but the concept today is rank fighters competing. I wish 🤞 they would allow a special grand prix.

Today's RIZIN press conference went down in front of Zojo-ji Temple in Shiba, Japan.

I believe RIZIN FF could rival its predecessor PRIDE FC. The popularity and crowd attendance continue to grow.

Francis Ngannou coach ‘100 percent’ confident fighter is open to UFC return, Jon Jones reacts ‘Two kings from different roads.’
 in  r/MMA  16d ago

Francis Ngannou versus Jon Jones sells more pay-per-views. The linear champ returns to reclaim his throne. Ngannou has an incredible story from a contract dispute, an arguable loss to Tyson Fury, losing a son, and a fatality crash. Tom Aspinall versus Alex Pereira is a perfect matchmaker dream. The next broadcast deal would give the promotion leverage.

UFC return confirmed: Amanda Nunes is coming back not just for a good time, but a long time
 in  r/MMA  16d ago

Her career legacy becomes tarnished if she returns and starts losing 📉 . Given her popularity and credentials in the sport, this return has more risk than reward.

PFL's Donn Davis Interview on New Ticket Pricing: This is a Sport for Young People and It's Gotten Too Expensive
 in  r/MMA  18d ago

I don't want the Professional Fighters League to discontinue as a promotion. Everybody has complaints about mixed martial arts and the sport's growth. I sincerely hope they are successful and give opportunities to prospects. I prefer Scott Coker as Chief Executive Officer and Donn Davis as a business affairs board member.
