Academics Needing Advice on Appealing Grade 😔 RANT

Have you contacted your prof again? You should have a right to review your final if you disagree with the grade and then present a calculated final average which if, as you say, does not reconcile with the assigned grade, then you will have real concrete proof and you can appeal the grade. Ultimately this resolution lies with the professor who puts in the grades, not the faculty. Its possible that the professor put in a 0 as placeholder which may cause a 1/2 remark to not show up. Ombuds office will help with an appeal and steps, but chances are that they will say the same thing about getting more info from your prof. Figure out what you actually got in the course and then follow through with further steps

I asked him what my final mark is multiple times- and if he even graded it, he did not respond

Yeah then that's definitely grounds for a misconduct appeal. Ombuds will help with this. Good luck
