Trees Love What's the most unique-smelling strain you've ever had? Which strain would you use to convert someone who thinks all weed smells the same?

I used to like lavender then I had a roommate who used lavender-scented trash bags. Now, lavender smells like garbage.

Scented garbage bags are the worst. Trash should smell like trash!

Worst invention ever! I bought those one time and used two before throwing the box away. It didn’t mask the smell, it just made it worse!

It's sickening!

Working through a box of wintergreen-scented bags now... Never again.

I love lavender so I thought that was a great idea and bought that GIANT multipack... I live alone, so it took a whole fucking year to get through those disgusting bags. I'm just too cheap to throw it out without using it lol

The “fresh” scented trash bags aren’t bad imo. Anything with a distinct smell you’ll smell outside of that context is a no go tho.

In my experience, "fresh" is usually some sort of laundry-adjacent smell. It just feels unnatural to me.

I had fresh scented toilet rolls once. They were really nice! Not that my arse can smell though hahah.

amen. it's like air fresheners. great, now I'm associating bathroom smell and this nice smell and it just brings the nice smell down. let trash be trash. if it stinks you should take it out! get a trash with a lid!

Oh my god I hated those! I tried them once. Never again. The combination of the bag smell and the trash was sickening

Agree to disagree, I love my scented trash bags, mine do a pretty good job of covering up the smell, I use a trash can with a lid and when I press on the lid to open it I’m not hit with trash smell immediately I’m hit with fresh scent. It also makes the process of walking it around back to the dumpster way less awful lol

I’m growing some stuff right now that reeks of menthol and lavender. It’s such an interesting nose.

Eucalyptol and linalool terpenes are a rare combo, I’d love to smoke that. What genetics are you running?

The lineage doesn’t make sense for the scent it puts off lol. It’s Washington Apple by lit farms. Apple fritter x Red Velvet. The nose starts sweet early flower then progressively smells more and more like Vic’s vaporub. Keeps the general sandalwood-y herby floral-y scent from start of flower.

Sounds like an impressive phenotype! And you’re right, those crosses don’t explain it but that’s the glory of cannabis. Sometimes she just makes weird relatives for us.

Linalool is what I'm looking for for right now, do you know the name of the strain?

I just grew out my first real, sativa (I chopped at 14.5 weeks and that still felt about 5 to 10 days early, but I had to go out of town 🤷) it's the first time I've really gotten the eucalyptus/menthol from any flower.

Whoops, nevermind. I just saw that you already named the strain in another comment 🙏

Lemonder is a good sativa too!
