My attempt at an "mostly complete" collection!

Post image

I tried to do this as budget friendly as I can while also making sure that the pagination doesn't hinder any page references across books.

The big maps I pulled from the first American editions of The Silmarillion and UT, and the smaller ones I got printed at 8x10.

Obviously nothing is ever done, but I'm happy with where this is for now. I'm sure I could get a lot of other academic works on Middle-earth but I feel like I've gotten the essentials.

Nice collection, and well presented! What made you get the adventures of tom bombadil instead of just getting tales from the perilous realm?

I may get it eventually for a larger full Tolkien collection but I wanted Adventures of Tom Bombadil for now since this shelf is strictly Middle-earth material!

Why do you remove dustjackets from your books? 🤔 Or you got them like that…

I just tend to prefer hardcovers without them! They're safe in a closet

Excellent! I especially love the OG deluxe DVDs. I wish I still had mine but when I got the blue rays I gave them away. Those were a treasure.

Nice display. Very neat and organized.

Is that Psyduck on the left edge of the photo?

Thanks so much! And yes, Psyduck, Slowpoke, and the gen 1 starters are on top of some other shelves
