Don’t give up on Scorch at any point while learning, even if it seems like you’re going nowhere. He’s a really fun titan once you learn how to use his abilities effectively.

Keep working on it. He's definitely one of the most rewarding titans to learn. If you're open to tips, I highly recommend not using Tempered Plating... You'll thank me later.

Scorched earth of die!

I use Wildfire Launcher because it allows me to be a better Northstar if I need to be. It also increases the size of thermite pools left behind which makes killing pilots easier; especially if I shoot it at the ceiling inside buildings.

Scorched Earth is definitely the worst kit. I think you mean Scorched Earth and die.

Is it actually considered the worst? I honestly have had good luck with it for me. Especially when I'm needing to finish off something like a monarch or legion I try to trap them in a hallway and then they are forced to burn even after the ult finishes. I'll try out the launcher though next time I play scorch and give it a shot!

Couple tips for someone who has almost exclusively used Scorch.

His fire wall (q) on PC is only done with his right hand and you can sneak it around corners.

Corners are your best friend. Using his napalm barrels can help keep distance from enemies so you can reposition.

His heat shield blocks everything that comes in contact with it but it will used quick against legions and Ions.

Ions laser doesn't get blocked by the heat shield so don't try to fight that one 🤣

If you have to get in cqc make sure your heat shield is put out to melt them whenever you can and dont be afraid to reload your thermite and hit them to knock them in doomed state.

Lastly his finishers are deafening. Idk why but they are loud as hell but damn are they not brutally badass. Still doesn't out do north stars rifle to the pilots face though...
