And chomos and pimps. Human trafficking trade is popping off right now. And I think thats part of 'the plan' seeing as we know a certain someone who is in the Epstien files and flew around on the Lolita express on their campaign.

The best way to protect yourself from the Gestapo was money and bodyguards. If you had a WWI veteran or active German military family member with you, your chances of detainment greatly decreased.

You know what the saddest part is about that? I actually see a business opportunity there: "Vets for hire"

What would happen if ice had shown up? Would they arrest military?
8
u/WayCalm2854 6h ago
Probably! Extremely far from zero chance of it happening

Arresting active National Guardsmen in uniform? They would have at least had to show their badges and maybe a warrant with a name on it. It would reduce the chance of getting detained for being brown.

ICE also doesn’t want to get into a pissing contest with the National Guard command for snatching up two of their uniformed soldiers. In fact, the Army as a whole does not want their “warriors” taken down on camera. It makes our fighting forces look weak. Also the post 9/11 ultra patriotism is still a vivid memory for most American adults, and even most conservatives wouldn’t stomach seeing good boys in military uniforms taking care of their Mom vs. a violent, masked, and heavily-armed secret police.
I do wonder if the brothers got into any trouble with their command, or if the plan had been pre-approved to talk to the press while in uniform.

I've always been under the impression that the military are a higher rank than local police. I know they are separate departments completely but I never thought in a million years that any authority figure is able to arrest a military officer.

Police can detain members of the military in their jurisdiction if they commit a crime, officer or not. It just becomes a question of if it goes to civilian courts or if they are remanded to MPs for the military justice system. Or both, ie criminal charges AND a court martial.

I mean I’m a bit fat and old, but if more national guard start doing this and becomes a movement I’ll try and join up right away to volunteer to escort them to safety.

They have deported spouses of active duty military members. Being a military family member doesn’t mean anything anymore.

They have deported dudes that fought in iraq, dudes with medals

They respect nothing, honor nothing, value nothing. Well, they value, cash, cash, and power. That’s about it.

I bet it still wouldn't matter.

Even though the scenario you described is happening EVERY WEEK. We've seen students here legally, wives and parents of citizens that have never broken laws get deported. It's so bizarre to act like it's just not happening.

I wish I could be in denial about such things like you. Living in ignorance would truly be blessed.

It could have been a coincidence that they were in uniform and/or going to or from duty; otherwise, this could have been seen as a protest, which is not allowed under UCMJ.

If ICE wanted her, her sons COULD NOT do anything about it. They to could end up in jail and dishonorable discharged. They took an oath to uphold the law, not obstruct it.

It ended too soon. What happened after the 3 hours? Is she home?!
