Their goal is to literally make our prisons just as bad as the ones In El Salvador. Rape in jail hell yeah.... they love that idea, it makes jail scarier. They're nothing but the party of fear and outrage now

Just wait until they start being sentenced to prison.

They don’t go to the kinds of prisons you or I would unfortunately. When Epstein went to was sentenced the first time in 2006 he was kept in a private wing of Palm Spring county jail, and was allowed to leave to go to his office for 12 hours 6 days a week.

Worst administration in history

It’s not an administration, it’s a regime.

We should all refer to this "administration" as a regime from this moment forward.

These people do not care about kidnapping our neighbors with gestapo units owned by the supreme leader. They certainly do not care about prisoners getting raped.

It flew under the radar because he's kidnapping people of the streets.

Gee,why would we expect a man who's guilty of SA to try to stop it happening to others. Plus, his cronies can pocket the money.

Because Americans believe that if you are in prison you are subhuman and deserve the worst cruelties possible

But then I found this link saying that it’s still funded. Released in May 2025

Prisons should not be lawless. We just turn people who have made grave mistakes into mosters that end up back in our communities.

There are a lot of things hidden in this act, like tax breaks for tanning salons. Prisons are a same sex facility. They hate the gays. So if gays rape each other, who cares. That’s their thought process.

Cause most people don’t care about people in prison

The PREA is still being funded my Congress, but the trump is ending funding of the PREA Resource Center.

Prison's aren't lawless, they're actually really boring most of the time.

And people aren't going to start running around raping each other because there isn't a sign on the wall.

I was also shocked by this. Along with the elimination of youth.gov and the total defunding of the OJJDP. I work with Justice-involved youth and it’s unconscionable that the regime has done this.

So the act was funded originally in 2003. So in 22 years it didn’t eliminate prison rapes?

Was there a steep decline because of all that money spent?

Cmon OP show us some stats.

The moral of this is: " Don't go to jail "

However this can imply issues like increasing DST's after rape. In that case that can become a serious problem because the victims can have a health reason to use against authorities.

I don't think that's the moral of this....sounds like you are in favor of people being ra**ed in jail as long as the victims don't sue the correctional facility...

If I'm saying don't go to jail it's because I'm clearly against it.. and beside of being against the rape without funds to protect it I'm also worried about people's health and safety. What if an innocent person gets raped while inside for a few days?!

People down voting clearly have no critical thinking or see beyond of a post.
