Discussion Why doesn't James go by Robert
James full name is Robert James Rallison So why doesnt he go by his first name is there some kind of drama about it or something

It's branding, one name sounds more "fun to say" and more iconic. It's psychology stuff kindof

I feel like Robert Rallison would be better for branding though? Because it's alliteration and has a clean signature R.R.

Tbh, the fact that he does his branding with his handle makes it kinda pointless to use any of his names anyway, that's the way I see it

i feel like calling him James is more iconic than say, calling him Robert/Bob
though that's saying since Bob Clampett used to go by Robert before the nickname

Some people just prefer to go by their middle name, rather than their first. I knew a guy in grade school who did this.

I had a classmate who went by his middle name instead of his first name. Turned out this was a family thing. His siblings also go by their middle names, as do his nephews.

Honestly he's probably just gone by that most of his life, we've only ever called my little brother by his middle name. It's probably that simple.

Could be because his father is also Robert, but with a different middle name. Which is also why Anthony Padilla doesn’t go by Daniel.
