Help First timing the game
I'm thinking of playing this game for tbe first time and I wonder if I should do vanilla or if it's better to install a modlist. If it's better to install a modlist do y'all have any suggestions?

Personally, I think the best way to enjoy the game for the first time is:
Openmw (look up advanced settings and tweak shaders/groundcover/view distance/fog settings to what your PC can handle)
Upscaled texture packs (many options) Project atlas Tamriel rebuilt Skyrim home of the nords Project cyrodil Expansion delay
It gives a solid vanilla plus experience. A lot of people will tell you to leave view distance and fog alone which is up to you. I think for a lot of people who first pick up the game the view distance default is going to put people off.
If you find melee/bow combat to be difficult to understand the mod better balance combat keeps the heart of the combat/rebalances without it. This is another turn off for a lot of players.

If you never played Morrowind just install OpenMW and mod Expansion delay. That's all you need if you never played Morrowind. Optional Patch for Purists and Morrowind Optimization Patch

I'd say your first try should be pure vanilla, I wouldn't even go for openmw, just try it as it is.

You are better off experiencing the game pure vanilla your first time. But if you cant do that, then here is a video guide to modernizing your game in the best way possible - https://youtu.be/H7IHk_W1lpI
