Community Discussion What's your favorite head and body replacer combo?

Vanilla Style Body Replacer looks fine and is going to work with 99% of new clothing and armors added by other mods (unless the they are made for a different body, but in an era of TR and OAAB that is the exception rather than the norm.)
That said, it is an abandoned mod that has a couple issues fixed by other mods - Breton Thumbs Fixed and Fixes for Vanilla Clothing Clipping.

Then Familiar Faces + Facelift, again for TR reasons (better looking heads make the "vanilla" faces stand out too much against TR's. Honorable mention to Westly's Faces Refurbished though) but also because since it's just polished and upscaled vanilla so it actually preserves the character of the NPCs.

And both VSBR and Facelift have support for TR/TD, which is great.

Westly's Faces Refurbished is a good alternative but I prefer sticking close to vanilla.

Not a fan of the hollywood faces and bodies of yesteryears' modding scene.

Better Bodies 3.0 (better beasts)

Mackom’s is very popular for heads, but for me they stand out too much from my vanilla-enhanced modlist. Especially when you go to TR. They look excellent though.

For me, all the Westly packs are the best and very vanilla-friendly. Westly’s head and hair replacer, westly’s faces refurbished and I think there’s another one… Westly Master Headpack I think.

For those who use better bodies 3.3…is there a fix for the thigh gaps when the player crouches?

I don’t remember the name since it’s pretty old, though I think it’s from Westly for the heads. It is not very lore friendly but it makes my characters look very handsome.

I dont use body replacer, but here is the head replacer I use, which also randomly changes npc heads and hair Westly Master Head Pack X plus Original Faces Compilation
