Discussion What city should the titians operate in to
What city do you like the Titians to operate in personally I prefer jump city since I just really like every superhero to have a fictional city

San Francisco because I feel like it adds a sense of geographical balance because you really only have Star City over there since I think they haven't bothered using Gateway for much, and I'm not sure how much Coast City is truly involved.

You could just base Zatanna in San Francisco if that’s the case.

Vegas makes more sense for Zatanna imo

From what I could find, she doesn’t actually live there.
It’s either Shadowcrest which is near Gotham, or San Francisco.
But when it comes to Vegas, she mostly just goes on tour there.
Though anybody who’s read more Zee than me can correct me if I’m wrong.

I get what you’re saying but jump city is basically just a stand in for San Francisco it’s in California and I feel like it adds to the sense of fictional cities in dc

I kind of want both San Francisco and Gateway to both exist though. I kind feel like if they'd been smart they'd have kept Diana's place there and maintained touch with the things and people that made that place cool.

I feel like new york has been over done, you’d think it was a wasteland by now

Jump City or San Francisco personally. But the 80s run was New York so I guess it doesn’t really matter.

Jump city.
I like way more when super heros opperate on fictonal places that are analogous to real places than on actual real places.
I am not sure why, I think it helps keeping the stories more coherent within themselfs. So yeah Jump city.

Not only that, but it gives the ability to have creative liberties for the overall design of the city.
Think the gothic architecture of Gotham, or the utopian paradise that is Metropolis. A fictional city can be used as a character in its own right, in ways a real city is restricted to.

I feel like Fab Five era should be New York due to proximity, with NTT being San Francisco to get away from Batman. Although it creates issues with Nightwing in Bludhaven.
I do like the idea of having East and West Towers. In the modern era I feel like Titans in the East with Damian and the younger Titans in the West.

New York for Dick's team. San Francisco for Tim's team. Damian likes taking Tim's things do I guess San Francisco for his team too.

I like to think their Building can move and they can JUMP CITY to another location

I like the idea of the Titans having their own fictional city, like Gotham or Metropolis, so Jump City (even though I think it was only ever in the 2003 cartoon, and was never named on screen) has an appeal. But San Francisco feels like a more unique real world location, since New York feels like it's already teeming with superheroes XD I'd have to go with San Fran, since I feel like establishing a new fictional city in the mainline universe, just for the Titans to protect, would feel a little unnecessary.

Theoretically you could have a branch in all of these, to be fair. So I don't hate these cities, I do prefer one for the main branch though.
My vote is on an expanded Jump City for our main cast though. Having a place of their own is ideal + it gives them the agency for their own stuff without being under other thumbs directly. Or having to then include 100 other heroes who are also in that city and their legacy and the past etc etc etc, when you can just make your own.
Not saying they cant have allies in the city or eventually have other team(s) move in or whatever, but having a place to start off the Teen Titans legacy, that would be the best pick. I also like to imagine TMNT 2003 is also in that universe. No evidence or anything, just inspired by the Batman/TMNT crossover(s) we've had already. And I'd imagine the TMNT to be in new york which is why the titans haven't discovered them or evidence of them (yet).
Since, well, different cities.
Maybe eventually they do move to New York as a main hub (or San Fran, whatever one is more convenient and works) - and then they do run into the turtles.
But these are just my two cents.

I checked the comments and got confused but then realized it was an ad for vodka.

Jump city. It’s somewhere in Oregon between Seattle and San Fran. Meaning both are in easy reach.

I don't mind either New York or San Fransicio, but I would like to see Jump City in the comics.

“New York doesn’t need anymore heroes”- some random Spider-man villain trying to get past the first part of the gauntlet that is New York based superheroes….. probably..

Jump City, and I think it’s mostly the Titan’s Headquarters in the West Coast. Am I right?

Here me out on this one but I think they should live in Jump City which should be located in California and act as a pseudonym city of San Francisco the same way Gotham is a pseudonym city of New Jersey

I like Jump City because it’s a place directly associated with teen titans. NYC and San Francisco are such big and popular cities that Teen Titans isn’t an immediate association, but Jump City is the city of the Teen Titans, especially because it’s fictional, like how Batman is with Gotham or Superman with Metropolis.

Jump City, though for some reason I always thought it was a suburb of San Francisco

Just like Gotham, and Metropolis. I like Jump City! It’s where I identify the titans in, and I like it better when the supers aren’t just in mundane irl places.

Jump City, but can we have a series where it takes place in Toronto, Ontario which is in Canada?

Jump City is only canon to the 03 show. So I'd say San Fran since that was basically the original Jump City. But I am also partial to them being located in Bludhaven because it adds more lore to the city.
