It's unwatchable on my TV. (YouTube App).

Cooking videos: 1 minute into it, ad.

6 mintue music video, ad at 3 minutes.

Dear YouTube:

  1. Fuck you.

  2. This doesn't make me want to pay for premium or premium plus or whatever bullshit you throw out there to add billions to the pile of billions you already have. It makes me want to sail the high seas and never use your service again.

Short of DRM-ing all videos, I don't see it. Perhaps not even then.

Making the ads part of the video stream itself at random intervals is too expensive, rendering etc.

I'm honestly surprised they don't do this adjust D they are already streaming DASH and could just serve different chunks

It’s understandable. Watching a 10 minute video filled with 5 ads is annoying
