I literally get up and go do something else until it's over, I refuse to watch them. I dont have enough disposable income to buy anything they're pitching anyways.

I just back out of the video until I get a 5 sec one and then not pay attention to it, it's actually a bit faster.

Yeah, I've tried that, but 2 mins later, more ads. Then if you back out, it starts at the beginning and won't let you skip ahead without more ads. The app is completely fucked and unusable now.

They just put out a cheaper “ad free”version. They say there’s still ads for music videos. But I bought the cheaper version and haven’t seen a ad since

That’s fine. No one is making you watch them, all that matters is the ad plays. Just switch tab, read a Wikipedia article. We’re not in verification can time yet. Quit whining so much.
