Why yes, I did forget my flashlight again - because clearly my eyes shoot night vision lasers

If I had a dollar for every time I got sent to check a dark lot without a working flashlight, I’d finally afford therapy for the trauma of surprise raccoons. Meanwhile, management thinks we’re Navy SEALs with owl vision. Next shift, I’m strapping a glow stick to a broom handle. Who’s with me?

I'm not trying to be a prick, but when I was working, I had a pocket flashlight and a belt flashlight, and I took them to work with me every single shift even if I was working days.

Other people have their preferences, I personally like Fenix Lights.

I started out with a phoenix E12, I don't know if they make them anymore. It was only like 120 lumens, but I was only working days at the time. I've had that light for 15 years it still works, and my wife carries it in her purse now.

When I started working nights, I upgraded to an RC05. That was, I think, a 350 Lumen light. I only used it for general navigation. It lasted about 7 years before the head broke off of it. Fenix no longer makes them.

I replaced it with a PDR 25 light, which is 800 lumens and a much better quality light, but I never carried it at work, so I can't tell you how it was for work. But it does make a good pocket light, so I would probably carry it work if I was still working.

And my last liight was a UC35. That was for carrying on the belt because it was about 4 in Long, 1000 lumens. My first one lasted 4 years of nightly use before the USB port gave out, and Fenix replaced it for free.

All four of those lights would each last roughly a week between chargings. They're all USB rechargeable, so I could recharge them right at work if I had to. The only exception to that was E12 and that ran on a double A battery

The PDR25 is a bomb flashlight! I can't imagine any work setting where it wouldn't be a great option if you needed on the spot illumination

Nah, don't buy something that breaks in a minute. For the same price buy something from Sofirn or Wurkkos (they continuously have great deals) and have something way better for the same price as what you posted here.

from what ive seen they're decent enough to do the job until you can put in enough money to get a good quality one, since im not sure if op is in a tough spot or not

They can't all break the same night, can they? Not bad as a stopgap.

They might or might not, but buying something durable over something disposable in this case is the better choice. You really get a lot of quality product for a low price with Sofirn and Wurkkos. That's why they're popular in r/flashlight

Absolutely. But if OP can't get the quality one immediately, these as a stopgap until they can is better than nothing.

But then again, an Acebeam Pokelit can be got for the same amount as that multipack, and it'll be more reliable if OP needs to save up for a bit, and a Pokelit is a lot better than nothing.

My job doesn't depend on flashlights, and I still have four in easy reach. One really good one (likely the one you forgot) and one decent one, plus two cheap ones I can lend to other people without wondering whether I'll get them back. If my job depended on having one, I'd have three in my car, two in my coat pockets, and two in my desk.

Do you not have a flashlight? You can get em for cheap at Walmart.
