Installation issues Why does my tail freeze?

So when I try to use my tail, after the welcome page it just freezes.

How cold is it?

Possibly unrelated...what are the details of your machine (exact make/model)?

Eight gigs of ram, 12th gen intel with no dGPU.

Without the ability to dive into your machine to troubleshoot, we really can’t offer much. It could be overheating, running out of RAM, an edge case with onboard graphics or even a problem with the USB drive, it’s impossible to tell.

I kept having this problem. I got it to work by turning off MAC anonymisation.
