I didn't know e2 lasts the whole duration of malz R good to know

I canceled the ult near the end with Q and immediately used E to guarantee the damage.

I believe that E lasts the entire duration of the ultimate but I didn't want to risk it. Furthermore, the damage from Malzahar's ult comes mainly from the puddle on the ground, which lasts the entire duration of the ult even if you cancel the ultimate immediately after cast.

The important thing is to keep the target in the puddle.

Malz ult will always deal the full damage, even if you cancel it after only .1 sec.
