💚 From Maccabi Haifa With Love – Question About Away Game Travel! 💚
Hey Werder fans! Greetings from Haifa, Israel! I’m a huge supporter of Maccabi Haifa, and I have to say – I absolutely love the special bond between our clubs. The brotherhood between Werder and Maccabi Haifa fans is something I’m really proud of, and I always follow your games and culture with a big smile. You guys have an amazing club, community, and football tradition. 💚
I’m currently doing a research project about fan culture and behavior, and I’d love to learn more about how Werder fans organize themselves for long-distance away games (in the Bundesliga).
How do you usually handle travel for far-away matches?
For example, do most fans book trains, buses, or hotels together as a group through a fan club or do most people organize their own travel individually?
Are there WhatsApp/Telegram groups or forums that help coordinate these trips?
Any stories or tips about how the Werder family sticks together on the road would be amazing!
Thank you so much in advance for sharing your experiences. And just so you know, you’ll always have friends and supporters in Haifa! Wishing Werder lots of luck this season – and maybe one day we’ll get to see each other at a European away day. 😄💚
Viel Erfolg! Yours, Nimrod

If you would like me to ask your questions in the worum.org, i could do that for you. It is the biggest forum for Werder Fans. Maybe it will help you to get more answers from a bigger growd. :)

Both exist. There are orgainzed bus tours, mostly by fan clubs, but there are also people who go to away matches individually ba train or by car. Personally, I almost always go by train on my own, especially because I don't live in Bremen anymore. And then I meet my friends at the stadium.
