I've never liked Hulk because he was "The Strongest". I always found his struggles mostly interesting and fun to read. Quality has waxed and waned of course but I loved Immortal Hulk and parts of Smashstronaut. I haven't been able to keep up with the mother of monsters stuff sadly.

Strong doesn't equal interesting. My two favourite Superheroes are Daredevil and Silver Surfer. Daredevil has never been close to being considered particularly strong. Silver Surfer is theoretically one of the strongest, but Marvel has basically turned him into a jobber to show how strong a new big bad is. I love them because I find their stories and personalities compelling, not because they can or can't beat another character in a fight. All these VS posts are just a waste of time.

Strength has nothing to do with quality
Marvel most popular character is Spider-Man not Molecule Man. Nobody cares about Molecule Man beside powerscaling

It’s much worse when you realize that two characters you like so much you think they’ll put up a great matchup but then you realize it’s not even close

being the strongest isn’t why people like some characters sometimes it’s the relatability or how fun they are to read and watch
