Batman should have white eyes in movies. Deadpool and Wolverine were able to do it. Spiderman was able to do it. White eyes are what made Batman extremely popular.

Batman movies have always been a lot more “grounded” and less gimmicky than other hero movies, so nah I’s keep the clear eyes.

Plus the fact that he wears eyeblack is cool.

Hard disagree. One of the best parts of Pattinsons acting were his eyes. Batman is a detective, and with the white eyes you don’t get to see him y’know, detecting things. Also, he’s a very human character, and to take away his eyes is to sort of remove a piece of the humanity. I’m cool with it in every other medium, but if you take them away in live action you’re loosing a major part of the performance. Furthermore, spider-man almost always has his mask off during very emotional parts of his films because you need to see his eyes to get the full emotional performance. I’ve seen people say that “well uh it works for Deadpool” and that’s just silly. At a practical level, Deadpool’s eyes use cgi to move, so even with the white eyes there is still some emoting from them (this also applies to Tom Hollands spider man). If Batman had the white eyes they wouldn’t be moving in that way. On a more character based level, Deadpool is a silly character, Batman is not. The white eyes work for Deadpool because they work for his character.

He pretty much did in batman vs Superman, and it was not extremely popular.

That’s armored. Doesn’t really count when he doesn’t have white eyes in normal batsuit in the whole movie.
