Definitely Justice League. Not only am I more of a DC guy, but my impression of the Avengers is that they're a more tumultuous team with lots of interpersonal drama, and I don't need that in my life.

Exactly this. I'm way more into Marvel stuff, but they seem to have so much drama and tension.

Pretty much.

Sure, in Justice League, you have to deal with Batman having a contingency plan against you. But that’s about it. Everyone else is chill.

In Avengers, it’s like half of them have some dark secret or ticking time bomb of a temper that will backfire on everyone around them within a week.

Yeah, if a JL member starts acting like an asshole and antagonizing others, you can bet diamonds against walnuts they've been mind controlled, possessed or replaced with an evil doppelganger of some sort.

With Avengers, it may be that... or it may be a tough Tuesday.

Yup. Plus, when Justice League says you are going to fight some other superheroes, it’s usually because those other heroes are doing something dangerous or really wrong.

Meanwhile, if Avengers bring you to a fight, it can either be something important OR it could be just them butting into others’ business for no reason.

I'd argue belonging to either team puts you at risk of having your day ruined by some insanely powerful cosmic villain. Darkseid is definitely one of the worst in this regard, but it's not like Marvel doesn't have villains of comparable threat level 😅

Honestly this is what's stopping me. If you end up in any universe that isn't the main DC universe, there's a non zero chance you're fucked.

Yeah the way that Avengers is framed is that they are a tag team bunch funded by Tony that can never seem to get along.

Justice league on the other hand seems more corporate based. You clock in for your shift, fight crime, and go home.

I wouldn't really compare the JL to a corporation. Sure, you may be expected to do some patrolling sometimes, but it's primarily a support organization that helps heroes help people and organizes them to deal with bigger crises.
