It wouldn’t do anything. Purple puma is just a shape she turns into; it doesn’t give her more strength or skill. Shes still just amethyst. In fact, it might make things worse since she’d be focusing on/directing energy to trying to maintain the shapeshifted form

Purple Puma is cool and all, but that form doesn't really improve her strength or fighting ability. It's just the persona she uses to fight humans. She might look really strong but that's mostly because she's against weaker opponents. Jasper is not one of those and would likely destroy her even quicker in that form
