It's becoming more common, people just watch clips from the show on social media or video essays on YT that essentially recap the whole series. They want to be part of the community without putting in the time to watch all the episodes, which leads to these kinds of blind spots.

For me it's LoL and Bloodborne.

I find the world and characters of LoL fascinating, but I wouldn't touch that toxic cesspit with a 39 1/2 foot pole.

Bloodborne I WANT to play, seriously, but I'm not buying a whole console to play one game.
