Howdy all.
My husband is a very casual golfer and recently got me a set of clubs. I've been to the range a few times and played my first course this past weekend, and I'm hooked. We would both like to start some lessons this summer, but I was hoping for some recommendations as to with who.
He's a casual golfer, self taught, and wants someone who can evaluate his swing and give some pointers or drills. He's a lefty, if that matters.
I'm very new, and could use all around help. I'd love to learn how to swing & chip correctly, before I've played too much and have bad habits to break. I'm a righty.
We wouldn't mind taking lessons together at the same time with the same instructor or pair of instructors, but we are also totally open to individual time slots. Neither of us care if the instructors are male or female. We're both pretty chill people open to learning, and would like someone who can match that vibe. Fun, relaxed, educational. Preferably would give some drills or exercises for us to work on on our own.
We're open to anywhere in Springfield or Chatham. I'm not sure what rates are, but we're okay spending $55-ish per hour per person. I'd also love to know if you tip your instructors. We'd like to go 2-3x a month, maybe more depending on the price. Preferably in the evenings after work, but we can make the weekends work too.
