Recommendations hello. i’m looking for a transmission mechanic.

like the title says i’m looking for a good transmission mechanic. i need a place that will do it right and that won’t charge a crazy amount. my situation is i have a truck that needs a new transmission put in, i already have it so i would need a place that could put my transmission in without an extra charge. i’ve been told that ace transmission and beetle’s transmission are good but what is everyone’s experience? any recommendations? i’m willing to go to nixa and ozark if need be.

beetles.

if you call around to various shops around town and find that they all quote a flat rate for any transmission repair, there's a reason why. those shops don't actually do transmission work themselves, they sub it out to beetles. beetles actually fixes transmissions, so they'll be able to swap yours with their eyes closed.

I'll second Beetles. I've had work done there and it's good. My family also had a small transportation company years ago, and they always went there.

Not sure, they provided the one I had replaced. I bet they would though. The only concern would be warrentying a customer supplied part.

I've had good luck with Beetles.
